Attention Camfrog Hosting Providers! We’ve just released an update to the CDS Room Server. You can download this update by logging in to your hosting account at https://hosting.camfrog.com and downloading the latest update packages.
This update fixes a few bugs that were reported. Please update your Room Server within the next week to prevent your rooms from going offline.
Today we released an important update to the Camfrog Distributed Server software. This update contains some important security and stability updates, and as such is a mandatory update. This means that you will need to update all your servers as soon as possible to prevent Camfrog Video Chat rooms that you host from going offline.
Please note, that this update requires ALL components of the CDS to be updated, including media and room server components.
This required update must be completed by Wednesday, July 6th, or your rooms will go offline until you update.
If you host Camfrog Video Chatrooms using Camfrog Distributed Server software, there’s an update available for you! Download the update now by logging in to the hosters portal.
This update adds support for some top secret new Camfrog client features that will be coming soon, as well as some new anti-spam controls for room owners, along with several security and bugfixes.
Today we released an update to our Camfrog Distributed Server software. This new update features many bugfixes, as well as some new features for room owners.
Room owners now have more ways to manage spam, and prevent unwanted messages in their room. After your hoster has updated their CDS software, room owners can type /SETOPT HELP in their room to learn more about the new anti-spam tools.
Room hosters are required to update their servers to the latest version of CDS software by January 21st. If you are a hoster, click here to login to your hosting portal to download the latest CDS version. This is a high priority update, so be sure to update your servers as soon as possible to prevent your rooms from going offline.
In less than 2 days, Camfrog Server will be sunsetted. As stated in our previous announcement, due to many technical and security reasons, Camfrog Server software is no longer able to be updated. For these reasons, we have had to come to the difficult decision to end-of-life the standalone Camfrog Server software.
If you are still hosting your room on Camfrog Server, you can submit a support request via our HELP CENTER with your Server Pro serial, and proof of purchase to get 50% off a subscription of Camfrog Room Hosting service as a replacement for hosting on your own server.
Alternately, if you would like to continue to host Camfrog Video Chat rooms on your own servers, you can register for an account at https://hosting.camfrog.com and use our Camfrog Distributed Server software. If you contact our HELP CENTER with your Server Pro serial(s), we will exchange it with a 2 room/1 year license on your hosting account to help get you started.
Today we published updated binaries of all Camfrog Distributed Server components. These updates are mostly security and bugfixes, but because it’s a major update, we are requiring all hosters to update their servers as soon as possible.
Remember ALL components must be updated at this time.
Please be aware, that if you haven’t updated by November 20th, your hosting may go offline until you update, so to avoid any downtime, please update as soon as possible.
