Camfrog Mac 2.2 is now available for download! This new major Camfrog Mac release has an updated interface, support for video and audio snapshots, support for new audio modes, web notifications, plus many bug fixes.  This new client should also work with the new Mac OS X Lion OS when it becomes available.  Please give this new Mac client a try!

  3. There is some bugs on this new version, and crash easy.

    When i close a room the icons of the rooms list disappear. The feature to join in a new room with a curtain list of past rooms disappear too…. honestly was better the previous. And i used it only 2 days.

    Immediately on recreating this bug please go to the Camfrog Video Chat menu and send a crash log with details on what’s wrong.

    I am getting auto generated error log submissions from a version that has been working well for the last couple of weeks. This seems bogus.

    Nothing has changed, yet Camfrog thinks there is an error.

    Frog, I got a serious issue with the CFS 5.0.301 (Windows server 2008). The notification as follow:

    run time eror
    program files x86/camfrog/camfrog server 5.0/consule.exe
    the application has requested the runtime to terminate it in unusual way

    I got this twice and all rooms of mine getting down. What do you think? Bugs?

  10. I used this new version in this days, and now i find it much better of previous. Just crushed a couple of time. I still find the icon weird to switch rooms/list. Anyway well done.

  12. Macmix, immediately on crash please restart Camfrog client and go to the Camfrog Video Chat menu and send a crash report to our dev team so we can fix your problem.

    camfrog 2.2 for mac is alot better, but still not as good as windows can you please add the options off highlight friends, room list sortings like who’s viewing me stuff like that then, also add auto accept incoming pvt call with password, doesnt have that option either… hmmm the crashes ive never had a problem with camfrog crashing on my mac, but ive had problems with the new 2.2 the audio in rooms go away randomly from when you press mute then unmute or from going in and out different rooms no audio at all.. have to restart whole computer.. not sure if its a problem with my mac or with cf 2.2, it would also be nicee if you could change the part where when you view a paused cam its white…

    I also used to face the crashing problem on my mac. i guess after a crash it corrupts the file in Library/Preferences/com.Camshare.CamfrogClient.plist . so i used to delete it and then i was back to normal.
    But Note Deleteing this file related to camfrog . will clear all your stored nicknames and password, you wil have to reactivate the pro also

    Bambur instead u can generate a file for technical support from the menu available on top

    Automatically all the downloads you do gets saved in the Downloads folder
    Go to Finder — File –> New Finder Window and on the and on the search box type dmg and press enter . If you havent deleted the camfrog installer . u can find the various version of camfrog_mac.dmg files, look at the timestamp of the dmg file and select the one which was prior to the latest one
    Now go to application folder and delete the new camfrog and then u can install the old cf with the dmg file u found

    The only problem i have ican’t join in some rooms, just sometimes.

    Upgraded to 2.2.3120… now i get crashes and my contact list gets corrupted and I lose my contacts. Tried replacing my com.Camshare.CamfrogClient.plist file with a backup copy and it continues to crash. Several functions like adding new contacts and room invites do not work. Contacted the help email but got no response. Could use a little help here.
