Camfrog for iPad and iPhone/iPod have just been updated to version 2.1.3!  This new version of Camfrog for iOS allows users to experience our new audio modes in rooms, adds the ability to use special Camfrog nicknames, and also allows users to send each other virtual gifts within the iOS application.

Camfrog Mac 2.2 is now available for download! This new major Camfrog Mac release has an updated interface, support for video and audio snapshots, support for new audio modes, web notifications, plus many bug fixes.  This new client should also work with the new Mac OS X Lion OS when it becomes available.  Please give this new Mac client a try!

Currently special nicknames only work with Camfrog client, but if they become popular we’ll consider special nicknames for rooms and bots.  Camfrog special nicknames also require Camfrog Pro to sign on.

With Camfrog special nicknames you can be creative and make fun emoticons like 8| 8( 8P and many more.  You can also have a cool nickname with your email address like me@cool.com.

We have released an upgraded Camfrog client that fixes a problem some users were having with choppy audio in our video chat rooms.  Please upgrade your client as soon as possible.  Old clients are slowly being blocked due to incompatibilities with new audio and video features.

Camfrog Advanced Server 5.0.301 is now available for download.  This new update fixes a problem with punish and setopt commands.  Old server versions are slowly being blocked so please upgrade your room as soon as possible.
