Web Extension for Camfrog Server

Have you wanted to let users join your Camfrog room through their web browser? You can now do this with our new Web Extension for Camfrog Server. To allow users to join your room directly from your website, all you need is to activate Web Extension feature on Camfrog Server and embed a piece of HTML code on your web page.

Some of the features of the new Web Extension:

Allow users to access your Camfrog video chat room with lightweight browser-based Camfrog Video Chat Client software.
Advertise your Camfrog room on your website giving new users possibility to join video chat immediately from web page.
Support the most popular room features (chat, video, audio). For full featured video chat Camfrog Video Chat software installation is recommended.
Easy access to your room from public computers where no Camfrog Video Chat software is installed.
Supported clients browsers: Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari and Opera.

Please note Camfrog Server Web Extension currently is for Windows users only on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera browsers.

Camfrog Website Translation Project

Now you can get a special Camfrog long or short nickname with special characters like $, *, #, and many more. Visit the Camfrog Special Nickname page to buy a special nickname and begin using it immediately.

Currently special nicknames only work with Camfrog client, but if they become popular we’ll consider special nicknames for rooms and bots. Camfrog special nicknames also require Camfrog Pro to sign on.

With Camfrog special nicknames you can be creative and make fun emoticons like 8| 8( 8P and many more. You can also have a cool nickname with your email address like me@cool.com.

Today Camfrog is officially 5 years old. It’s hard to believe Camfrog has been around so long. We are excited to say we already have plans to make sure Camfrog’s 5th year is its best year ever. Logon to Camfrog.com with your logon/pass, then view your own profile by going to http://profiles.camfrog.com/yournickname where “yournickname” is your Camfrog nickname. You’ll see a new link called “Add comment”. You can now post comments on your own profile instead of being limited to only posting comments for others.
