Starting December 10th all Camfrog Pro client, server, and bot serial numbers will only work with one nickname at a time.  The Camfrog Terms of Service have always made it clear that shared serials will be deactivated and they will not be replaced.

We decided to make this change because we found some Camfrog users were sharing their Camfrog Pro serial with their friend, then their friend would share the serial number with someone else and the serial number would eventually deactivate due to sharing.  With this new Camfrog Pro serial number system in place it will be even clearer that Camfrog Pro serials have always been and will always be for one person only.

Please note that Camfrog Pro serials use an extremely high level of encryption similar to what online banks use and they cannot be guessed or stolen.  Please don’t download files from strangers and never submit your serial number in an online web form unless the domain is Camfrog.com because it’s probably a phishing website that will steal your serial number.  We never ask users for their serials unless there is a problem and only if the user contacts us first.  Please review our Camfrog Security Tips page.

Camfrog Virtual Gifts

It appears some users are having trouble logging on to Camfrog but the vast majority are having no problems at all.

We are unable to recreate the issue even after testing from several remote locations.  It may be network problems with our host.  Hopefully we will find the cause soon if it’s something within our control.  If it’s network problems then hopefully they should correct themselves in the next hours.

Update:  We found some DNS issues from a server upgrade and logons should be working again as your DNS updates.  Sorry for any inconvenience.

Update October 13: We had an unexpected network problem with our data center.  Everything seems to be OK now, but until we find the cause we may have another outage.

Are the Camfrog logo eyes stuck over your face and you can’t figure out how to remove them?

Occasionally a Camfrog user will email us and say that the Camfrog eyes logo are stuck over their face and they cannot be removed.  Fortunately it’s very easy to remove the Camfrog eyes from your video.  To remove the Camfrog eyes from your video right click your local video window and uncheck “Camfrog eyes” from the menu.

If you want to turn on the Camfrog eyes and try out this feature you can also activate them this same way.  Thanks for showing off your Camfrog eyes!

This morning we are experiencing an outage due to a network problem with our data center.  This long downtime is unacceptable and the data center is working to solve it as soon as possible.  Unfortunately this is out of our control.

We already have plans to make changes to our network and host with a different data center and we are moving as soon as possible so we can avoid downtime like this in the future.

Our support team has been up without sleep now for 24 hours so they are ready when the network is available again to get everything working for you.  Thanks for your patience in this difficult situation.
