You can now buy a virtual gift for your video chat room. Just visit the info page for your room, then choose the type of gift you want to give. The rooms that are currently online and that have the most gift points appear at the top of the room list under “Most Gifted Rooms”.

We also have new Birthday virtual gifts. Know someone who has a birthday coming up? Give them a special Birthday virtual gift.

Today Camfrog Server version 4.2 for Windows and Linux was released to the public. This new server version improves anti-spam and anti-flood protection, has a new SSL encrypted web interface, and has miscellaneous stability and performance updates.

The rooms under the “Camfrog Hosted” tab in the video chat room list may be temporarily unavailable for a short time on June 2nd. This outage will occur between 7-9AM CST.

All normal user hosted rooms should be unaffected.

Camfrog Server 4.0.98 is now available for download. In this software upgrade Camfrog Server log files appear immediately on the server hard drive instead of having to sign out your server to see the logs, or wait several hours. We made this change due to user requests. If you have any problems with this new version please send a detailed report to our help desk. Please upgrade.

Some users have reported problems with Camfrog Server 4.0 and the log feature. Camfrog Server 4.0 collects logs, but the logs do not appear until the server places a cache from memory to the hard disk. It can take several hours, or one full day for the logs to appear on the hard disk. If you want logs sooner you can sign your room off-line and the log file should appear immediately. This change was done to make the Camfrog Server software even more efficient. If you are experiencing problems with the new Camfrog Server version please send detailed information to our contact page help desk.
