Camfrog for Android is Here!
The wait is finally over! We just released Camfrog Video Chat for Android.
Some of the features in this new free app include P2P Video and audio calls, full IM functionality, and audio in rooms.
Since this is our initial public release of this new app, we welcome any feedback you have. We are constantly working on updating this, and adding cool new features.

Application is great though there are problems getting hold of the mic in a room. The Application Button for “Talk” once clicked is staying Green as if it is still being held.
The Application crashed on my Samsung Galaxy SII and gave this error after trying to use the mic in a room a few times:

i got it to download 10 times but it wont install, says after i click install, that its installing, then i get an error message saying NOT INSTALLED. Please fix this i have an Android LG touch screen phone with android 2.2 on it.Thank you so much

Rom Android 2.2 no work installed.

Couple of issues with the Samsung Galaxy nexus. Talk button is hard to press. Even though once you do get it pressed it is not working. Will not link with the mic on my phone.

ok i have used EVERY APK installer for android and NONE of them will install it, it shows the camfrog file, and asks to click install, and when i do, it states, APPLICATION NOT INSTALLED, so im asking please, can you upload this camfrog file to the app store without having it packed as APK file. Thank you so much as I have never had issues with any android apps and installing them thus far, until this one.

The new Camfrog for Android works just as advertised.
Too bad there are no options or settings in it yet.
Video Only in IM just like the iPhone Camfrog app.
There should be volume controls both for mic and speaker.
With Paltalk Android it has video in chatrooms so why can’t
the Camfrog Android have it too?
Paltalk works really well with Android, but with Paltalk we really
cannot have a normal chat in a Paltalk sponsored room.
There are no paltalk sponsored rooms and I do not want to raise my hand to use the mic

Sorry to post offtopic, but there´s no suggestions thread, hence only way to do this:
How about a feature in (all OS versions of) camfrog, where you can copy your buddylist from one nickname used by yourself to another one?
I don´t need to list the reasons here for sometimes wanting to change your nick (or add a new one), but being stalked is one. Anyway, I know few people who didn´t change their nicks at some point, so here´s my suggestion:
Why not just make it possible to make a function that copies all ones contacts over to another nick? Both needs to be verified by password of course. Would be so convenient instead of adding the 40-50 friends I have manually…

Works great with my Galaxy S2 but needs settings feature, need to see peoples Status messages…Private one on one call is a little glitchy but i observed all this from work…and understand its the Launch version…. keep workin on it…so far so good… its exactly what i expected for the first launch

Im regularly checking Appworld on my BB Playbook in anticipation but so far no sign of CF. Since the PB does not have Skype or MSN style apps, this could be a golden opportunity for CF to be the only chat service for this product. There are hundreds of thousands of PBs in use and millions of BB phones. Please put your Android app in Appworld.

MIC DOES NOT WORK IN THE ROOMS! I WAS SO EXCITED TO GET CAMFROG ON MY PHONE BUT ITS KIND OF POINTLESS UNLESS I CAN TALK VERBALLY! SO COME ON AND FIX IT CAUSE THAT I KNOW OF, THE ONLY WAY TO BE ABLE TO USE IT IS TO PUT A TIMER ON THE MIC, AND THE ROOM I GO TO IS NOT WILLING TO DO THAT!

I Have a Samsung Galaxy SII AT&T I777 phone and Camfrog works but
there are way way too many random disconnects making the app
at least for me unusable for the time being.
