"Camfrog fans have already made Camfrog fan pages on these sites anyway, so we thought it was important to make it clear what fan pages are official and really owned by Camfrog."

I can understand that. It makes sense.

We plan to bring new discussion features in the future. There is no requirement to join Twitter or Facebook, but it may be fun to join our groups on these services if you already use them and you are looking for your Camfrog fix.

Having 'sister' sites on places Camfrog has no control over is, in my opinion, less than desireable.

Camfrog already shows an 'anti-phishing'/Unsafe Site warning when we click on links. Why are you allowing third party sites? Why not simply bring back the Camfrog Forums and make a few areas of interest for the users? Tech support, news and the like? I realize the 'blog' is something like that, but it is not as all-encompassing as it should have been from the beginning. Bots and software installs from unsecure sites should be a main concern for Camfrog. Are you going to constantly monitor the Facebook, Myspace et al ,sites for SPAM and other dangers??

It seems like too much work with too many security disadvantages. Is it just me who thinks this?
