hey i had the chance to look at a PC client lately and i was impressed,The mac version is far behind the PC and missing some basic features that people NEED to know to understand the “rules” , so please upgrade the OSX client, its a nice proggy but it could have a much better interface on mac i believe.

My cam is REALLY slow with the 1.8. I switched back to the 1.3 and it works fine???

I Upgraded to the most recent mac version of camfrog, but now when I try to log into almost all chat rooms I get an error saying that I was disconnected. When I click reconnect i get the same error. I have emailed tech support numerous times about this over the last few weeks, and havent gotten a response. please help! Thanks! My user is trvo03333.

I cant get in either! I was able to join chat rooms on 3/13 but now when I do it says you were disconnected and when I click reconnect I get the same disconnected error. Can anyone help me… I have downloaded Camfrog 1.8 for mac, im running Mac OS X.4.8 on a macbook. However when I click on the camfrog icon in my applications folder nothing loads. I have deleted all other camfrog editions but that does not see to help. So at the moment im frogless… please help me!

I among all of my friends using 1.8 experience alot of lag lately and the cams are severely pixalated. I run the acoustic_jam room and its very bad. I would like to revert back to 1.7 but it is no longer on website. Where can we get it? Also, I would like to be a beta tester for future releases. When someone has the mic in our room and releases it, the name stays on mixes with the person who has the mic next. SO bad that you cannot even tell who has the mic now.

I installed Camfrog 1.8 and it crashes the moment I try and join a chatroom. Is there a conflict with other mac applications?

People do not know about this version yet, but we plan to put out an alert in the old versions in the next week or so.

Thank you for the new version. I do see improvements and it works much better. However, one thing is not working for me, and it involves the auto away feature. When I change my status to invisible, privacy or usy it automatically sets my status to away after a certain period of time. That is fine…but now if I was logged in as invisible, it sets my status to away which makes me appear online. Also, if I’m on privacy mode, it would take me off of privacy and put me as away. I think this may be a bug? I hope I have explained this so it makes sense. Thank you in advance for your help.
